The advantages of X9 R-SATA SSD

Image
Renice X9 R-SATA Technical Highlight 1. Secure Erase, support Physical Destroy and Logical Destroy 1.1. Physical destroy Implemented by HW button, with time-sharing shunt design to guarantee each NAND Flash been destroyed. The disk is scraped after destroy and data cannot be recovered by any means. 1.2. Logical destroy Support SW and HW methods. 1.2.1 After data destruction, the disk cannot be recognized by HOST, and data cannot be recovered by any means; 1.2.2 After destruction, all data in disk become FF, cannot be recovered. The disk is enabling to be used after initialization. 2. r-Backup technical patent, to keep the integrity of data information under abnormal power-off even when capacitor aging after years usage; 3. Exclusive Non-Balance wear-leveling technology, to increase the lifespan of the disk. 4. Support write-protect function 5. Support the only corresponds: the disk and the host computer. The destruction will be started automatically when the d...

Renice Rugged SSD drive, with R-SATA connector

Image
Aerospace and Defense storage applications require the highest level of reliability ,often operating in harsh environments. The Flash storage devices used in these applications must therefore operate flawlessly while exposed to extreme temperatures and high mechanical shock and vibration loads. R-SATA, or Rugged SATA in short, is the unique interface that has been designed specifically to address vibration and the shock problem during application. It can efficiently resolve the undesirable intermittent contact or potential signal spikes resulting from vibration and shock in the SATA gold finger connector.   Renice Technology company can offer SSD solution with such connector, more information please email may@renice-tech.com.

SSD: Why R-SATA (Ruggedized SATA) is better than ordinary SATA interface?

Military SSD vs Consumer SSD, Big difference!

Image
The essential difference between military SSD and consumer SSD is their security and reliability, not the speed performance. And What cause their security and reliability such a big difference? The answer is design idea and material selection! The cost of SSDs differs from several times and even more, though using the same capacity and the same chipset, when adopting different design idea and material. The design idea of consumer level SSD is performance prior and cost saving, for instance, when 4 layers is enough, they won’t choose 6 layers, moreover, if some material can be omitted then they will leave out. While military SSD will put reliability in the first place, if 10 layers needed then 10 layers, and all the materials is military or industrial standard. Because of these different thinking, it makes big difference between consumer and military level SSD. 1. Working/Operation Temperature Usually -40°C to +85°C, even -55°C to +125°C temperature range of military SSD is com...

Renice R-SATA (RSATA/Ruged SATA) SSD Embedded Memory Storage Solution for Aerospace and Defense Application

Aerospace and Defense storage applications require the highest level of reliability, often operating in harsh environments. The Flash storage devices used in these applications must therefore operate flawlessly while exposed to extreme temperatures and high mechanical shock and vibration loads. SATA Gold finger Connector can’t cater to this challenge!  The Fatal Weakness of SATA Gold finger, reasons: 1. The gold finger adopts flat structure, male connector and female connector contact through the plane, inevitably there will be momentary bad contacts during heavy shock and vibration, and the bad contacts may cause system crash or even damage the SSD due to frequent abnormal power loss. 2. The intense shock may result in   drag and malposition between male and female connectors. The gold finger uses fixed structure with no any buffer design, thus it is likely to be damaged by violent drag causing by intense shock. So we RENICE R-SATA Connector can solve this problem. ...
